Shearing

A processing method that utilizes mechanical force to cut metal materials to a desired size. It consists of two types of shearing: flat shearing and mitre shearing, and is suitable for producing sheet metal with straight edges.

Bending

A processing method in which a sheet of metal is bent to a certain angle along a predetermined line. Completed by hand or mechanically, it is suitable for producing metal parts with a certain bending angle.

Stamping

Through the mold on the metal plate pressure, so that it produces plastic deformation, to obtain the desired shape of the processing method. It includes a variety of operations such as bending, stretching, punching, etc., and is suitable for the production of complex shaped metal parts.

Main Process Flow of Sheet Metal Fabrication.

  1. Design: draw detailed drawings and process flow according to product requirements.

  2. Material Preparation: Select suitable metal sheets and laser cut them according to the size requirements.

  3. Cutting: Use shears and laser cutting machine equipment to cut the metal sheet into the required shape.

  4. Bending: Bend the sheet metal into the required shape for the design by bending machine.

  5. Stamping: The sheet metal is impacted using the made moulds and punching machines to form specific shapes such as holes, depressions or bumps as required.

  6. Welding: Multiple sheet metal parts are combined and fixed, and welded together using a welding machine.

  7. Surface treatment: including polishing, galvanising, powder coating, sandblasting anodising colouring, etc. to improve the appearance and corrosion resistance of the product.

  8. Assembly: Combine individual parts to form the final product, using welding, bolting, etc. to secure it.
